Zamira Castro, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist with advanced training in psychological assessment, clinical evaluation, and adult psychotherapy. She earned her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology in 2019 from the University of Miami and completed a postdoctoral residency at Jackson Health System (Miami, FL) in Clinical Health Psychology and Adult Behavioral Medicine in 2020.

Dr. Castro has been in private practice since 2020. Her work involves providing specialized psychological evaluations used in immigration proceedings, vocational rehabilitation and disability matters, psychiatric, neurocognitive, and neurodevelopmental clarification, and gender-affirming medical care readiness. She has extensive experience preparing written psychological reports intended for legal, medical, and administrative review and is attentive to the ethical, clinical, and professional standards required in these contexts.
